C.A.P. Turner was a consulting engineer in Minneapolis MN., first working for Gillette Herzog Co. and then the American Bridge Company before starting the C.A.P. Turner Company. He is known for his patent of the Turner Mushroom System of reinforced concrete construction, and was granted some thirty other patents for various forms of reinforcement.
